Firecrest+ Samson Trip

This Firecrest was 1 of about 4 in Holy-Vale
Late yesterday afternoon

I had a quick trip to Samson in the punt this morning and saw the Purple Sandpipers on Green Island with the Spoonbill there were 14 Grey Plovers on Stony Island and the hybrid shellduck was still with the other Shellduck and the Great Northern Diver was in Pentle bay.

    super 'photos as usual!what an attractive little bird the firecrest is...we have had a family of goldcrests in our garden but never the firecrest.Thanks Joe, seeing your wonderful pictures makes me almost think I really have seen one!
