Short-eared owl

I spent a couple of hour at Lunt meadows in Lancashire were there have been up 7 Short-eared Owls present , when I arrived at 15.00 it was raining  , but the rain cleared just before 16.00 and shortly after 4 Short-eared owls appeared and were hunting over the meadows giving some fantastic views .
