I have just come back from a week in the North West were it was fairly quiet, there were large numbers of Black- tailed Godwitts on Marsh-side plus some Pintail's , I did see 2 Hen Harriers at Parkgate 1x Male 1x Female although distant but the numbers of Field fares was increasing into the thousands by the time I left as a sign of colder weather was on the way.
