Yesterday I had a private fishing charter and on the way to the Seven stones reef we saw this Leach's storm petrel come off the water and fly down the port side of the boat before head off to the South west .It is only about the 3rd Leach's I have seen around Scilly compared with hundreds of Wilson's Petrels or thousands of European Storm Petrels a very rare bird this far South west. We also saw 1x Great Shearwater 15x Sooty Shearwaters 3x Balearic Shearwaters 1x Bonxie and about 50 Common Dolphins.
