I spent the day yesterday travelling around to see what I could catch while Im away on the mainland . The first bird turned up in the garden before we left which was the male Brambling then we headed off in search of some Waxwing that had been seen near Moreton but when we arrived there was no sign so carried on to Thurstaston which is near the Dee Estuary were the Bullfinch and other garden birds were. Then we went to Parkgate marsh were almost straight away spotted the Great White Egret out on the marsh plus about 4 Ring-tailed Hen Harriers. We Spotted the Barn Owl  flying low over the fields while we were on the way back.
