On Friday night / Saturday morning we set about to catch and ring Storm petrels from the boat at sea . The lads that came over to do the ringing managed to ring 20 Storm Petrels by playing their call over a loud speaker they also tried Wilsons petrel which was one of the target birds as they have never been caught or ringed in british waters but no luck this time.
