This photo show this bonxie has been ringed and you can clearly see the blue ring with M4 on it . Which I will find out a bit more about were it was ringed and add the Information to this pic when I get it.
The great skua is an aggressive pirate of the seas, deliberately harrassing birds as large as gannets to steal a free meal. It also readily kills and eats smaller birds such as puffins. These birds migrate to the northernmost isles of the UK from their wintering grounds off the coasts of Spain and Africa. Thanks a lot.....
