This Glossy Ibis turned up on Tresco yesterday afternoon but was very mobile and was seen in flight several times today around St Mary's at about 3.30pm I found it feeding at shooters pool at the lower moors it is the 1st record since 1996.

I had a quick trip around yesterday before I take the boat to falmouth tomorrow and we saw 8 Grey Plover 6 Purple Sandpipers 3 Spoonbills the Hybrid Shellduck was still near Samson 2 1st winter drake Eiders 1 Brent Goose and 7 Common Scoter.
